Day 75 – Knit Bot

This is what happens when you run your studio with the power of an infinite improbability drive.

Look folks, I kinda suck at knitting*. I’m totally okay with that, because OH DID YOU SEE THOSE OTHER 74 BOTS? YEAH I TOTALLY MADE THOSE. WITH MY HANDS. AND MY BRAIN. So maybe I can’t knit well. That is why I need you, my lovely readers. I’m thinking, no, no one wants a lumpy, bumpy crazy badly-knit robot, but maybe they want a knitting pattern because they are more talented yarn-wise than me. So I need a few good knitters who like proof-reading possibly fatally-flawed knitting patterns (seriously people, I just made it up as I went). If anyone’s interested, e-mail me at robotgod@robotaday.com.

* I’m blaming this one on carpal tunnel.

I think you did a great job. I’m no good at setting zippers, so I think we’re even. I am pretty good at knitting though, so you can send me the pattern if you want it proof read and test knit.

HA! I saw that and was like: “I wish I had the patience/drive/talent for that” and then got down to the ‘I kinda suck’ disclaimer.

My work laptop keeps needing ten minute ‘cool downs’ and I’ve been wondering all week how tacky it would be for me to bust out the scarf I’ve been working on.

I think knitbot is awesome! And ditto on zippers – I don’t think I’ve ever even bothered to use zippers in my knitting, so you win.

And I would totally test-knit for you!

LOVE this bot! I knit quite a bit, but quite honestly have NEVER put in a Zipper before.

I’d LOVE to test your pattern for you!
